Oasis School, Katihar, is established in response to multiple requests from various communities of Katihar to cater to the modern educational needs of thousands of students hailing from the economically weak and backward sections of the society. Al-Hamd Education and Welfare Trust decided to shoulder this noble responsibility of carrying the torch of enlightenment in the bleak corners of the society where people were desirous of educating their wards in modern English medium schools but were lagging behind to afford the high cost of modern education. The members of Al-Hamd Education and Welfare Trust pledged to serve the cause of education to such needy people of the society. The foundation of the school was laid in 2023 year, and the school became functional from April 2025.
The school strongly believes that proper IQ is possible only with proper training in value education and emotional maturity. The teachers are encouraged to teach values of life while teaching their respective subjects. The school diary carries a particular value for each week. A reflection on each value is shared by the teachers and students during a specified period every week.
Our mission is to create the leaders of tomorrow. Backed by a curriculum that encompasses the distinctiveness of east and west. OASIS SCHOOL is dedicated to the moral, spiritual, and ethical development of children. We aim to edify them about the worth of honesty, dignity, and justice. We are determined to create an atmosphere where values are considered an achievement.
A course of moral education is given to all. Moral instruction includes the study of the foundation of right conduct, of our relation to God, to society, to the environment, and to oneself. The school considers this as an essential part of character training, and it would be guilty of flagrant neglect of duty should the students leave the school without knowing about these, especially in a country.

I am honored to say that we are inaugurating our second branch of Oasis School at Hajipur, Katihar. At this juncture, we identify our contribution to the society as a little drop of water in the ocean of community services. However, we strongly believe that this little drop will make the mighty ocean one day. This confidence is derived from the noble fact that our institution is serving the educationally deprived in a rural area of Bihar.
It is a synthesis of traditional and modern education and aims at imparting its services to the economically deprived sections of different societies irrespective of any biases of caste, creed, and color. The institution has its large, well-equipped computer lab with Music with Dance Theater Arts & Craft Lab all modern and latest facilities and is run by a team of qualified teachers. Computer education (both theory and practical) is compulsory for all the students.
We believe that a library is a treasure house of any educational institution and plays a vital role in a child's development. The school has a well-stocked library.
The school has established a house system starting from std Prep to foster an environment of 'Esprit de Corp' and encourage the learners to work in unison, cooperate, and have healthy competition. We have four houses in the school.
